3.) Learn about the company, industry, and other internal opportunities
4.) Impress the interviewer so much that they offer you the job you applied for – or a better one

Employers who were turned down for an interview my not be apt to invite you back in should you apply for another position. Rightly or wrongly, they may be view you as unserious or unprofessional.
Look at each job interview invitation as an opportunity to practice, connect, and learn. You get to sharpen your interview skills, grow your network, and find out more about the company. You also the chance to secure a new job!
Whether you receive a job offer and accept, receive a job offer and decline, or don’t receive a job interview at all, you benefit from going through the process.
